Compass Pointe Consulting LLC, is a Maryland based, Woman Owned Small Business specializing in IT and Finance & Accounting Solutions and Services is looking for Software Developer,.Net, C#.
The contract supports application development initiatives using SharePoint Online, Office 365, and related technologies. Primary responsibilities will include developing and supporting applications within SharePoint Online, but a strong general software development background is required. The initial contract is for one year, but will likely be extended for multiple subsequent years. The work on this contract is expected to begin in late June 2024. • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND QUALIFY FOR A PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE
Requirements:
US Citizen or green card holder
8+ years experience as a software developer
Excellent communication skills
Extensive experience with a demonstrable track record with the following technologies: SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019, Power Apps, Power Automate, Office 365,
Nice to have experience: .NET, C#, React
Responsibilities:
- Design and write clean, self-documenting code
- Coordinate development tasks with other team members
- Write system/technical documentation
The candidate will work with a business analyst/project manager to support existing SharePoint Online applications/workflows and develop new ones. There will be a need to call in to meetings during regular business hours and coordinate with the rest of the team, but the bulk of the work can be done on your schedule, so being able to work with minimal direction and supervision is critical.
You will be relied upon as a SharePoint expert to educate the team/client regarding technical options for implementing any particular requirement, and then performing the actual development, deployment, maintenance, etc.
Currently there are multiple applications running in SharePoint using the PowerApps/PowerAutomate platform, for future development we may be looking to move to React for the UI instead of PowerApps.
The office also has custom applications developed in .NET that have integration points with SharePoint, so a candidate who has experience with .NET/C# development is highly desirable.
