Senior AWS Solution Architect -REMOTE

Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust, scalable, and secure AWS-based cloud architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.
- Design and document end-to-end architecture, considering factors such as performance, cost, security, and reliability.
- Evaluate and recommend AWS services based on project requirements.
- Implement best practices for provisioning, configuring, and managing AWS services.
- Stay abreast of the latest AWS developments and incorporate new technologies as applicable.
- Implement and enforce security best practices within AWS environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of AWS infrastructure.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in AWS environments.
- Conduct regular assessments to optimize resources and costs.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of AWS resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure.
- Work closely with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of AWS solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an AWS Architect or similar role.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and AWS services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices and compliance in AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
