3D was founded in 2002 as a marketer and logistics provider sourcing specialty, value-added pet food ingredients. Today, we are the leading manufacturer of protein ingredients used to make premium pet food.

A division of 3D Corporate Solutions, our SC Pet Solutions, LLC plant is located in Ward, SC. We are currently seeking a Quality Lab Technician with a strong quality background in manufacturing with the below qualifications. The schedule will be as per below:

D Shift – (6:00pm-6:00am) Thursday-Friday-Saturday every other Wednesday

Position Purpose

This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures. This role is tasked with preparing the Certificate of Analysis as well as reviewing and processing results data for outbound loads. The lab tech is also responsible for adhering to customer specifications and ensuring HACCP is met.

Primary functions

  1. Review and processing results data
  2. Prepare Certificate of Analysis
  3. Complete hourly tests on samples (PV’s, FFA’s, Protein, Ash, Fat and Moisture)
  4. Complete weekly samples
  5. Maintain electronic records.
  6. Other duties as assigned.
  7. Schedule Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm (Able to be available for all shifts when needed)

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Must follow all safety requirements.
  • Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
