Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:Supervise and lead a team of car wash attendants, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Delegate tasks and responsibilities among staff members.Provide training to new employees and ongoing development for existing team members.
  • Customer Service:Maintain a high standard of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.Ensure that customers receive accurate and helpful information about car wash services.Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Operational Management:Oversee day-to-day operations of the car wash facility.Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.Monitor and maintain equipment functionality, coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Quality Control:Implement and enforce quality control standards for the car wash process.Conduct regular inspections to ensure that vehicles are cleaned to the highest standards.Address any issues related to the quality of car wash services.
  • Inventory and Supplies Management:Monitor and manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies, chemicals, and other materials.
  • Place orders for supplies and coordinate deliveries.Ensure that all necessary supplies are readily available for the car wash operation.
  • Financial Management:Assist in managing the financial aspects of the business, including handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records.Prepare and reconcile daily cash reports.Collaborate with the management team on budgeting and expense control.
  • Safety Compliance:Ensure that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed by staff and customers.Conduct regular safety training sessions for team members.Address and rectify any safety issues promptly.
  • Marketing and Promotions:Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing strategies.Promote and upsell additional services to customers.Monitor the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Employee Development:Identify opportunities for professional development among team members.Provide feedback and performance evaluations to staff.Support the career growth and advancement of employees.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, customer feedback, and operational metrics.Generate reports for management on key performance indicators.
  • Compliance:Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
  • Problem Solving:Address operational challenges and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.Collaborate with the management team to develop solutions for broader business challenges.

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in a retail or car wash environment -Preferred
  • Must work well in an all-weather outdoor environment -Required
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role -Preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory management, cash handling, and customer service
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including point-of-sale systems.
  • Availability to work in a flexible schedule
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
