About the Opportunity:

Joint Enterprise Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst with advanced knowledge in applying analytics in support of our client's enterprise network cyber defense capabilities As a Cyber Security Analyst you will have the opportunity to build strong lines of cyber defense using cutting-edge technologies. Your work in cyber security will have an impact on securing our clients' missions and ensuring we anticipate the threats of tomorrow.

Required Clearance:

• AN ACTIVE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO APPLY.
• Willingness to submit to and pass a Counter Intelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Locations:

• Washington, DC; Reston, VA; Charlottesville, VA; Norfolk, VA; Riverdale, MD; Colorado Springs, CO; Pearl Harbor, HI

Functional Duties:

• Gather and handle forensic evidence in accordance with Rules of Evidence and perform forensic analysis of digital information.
• Monitor, detect and report indicators of misuse, abuse, data spillage, insider threat, and security violations.
• Identify acceptable use policy infractions.
• Review event logs to determine events of interest.
• Monitor for fraud, waste and abuse, including content inappropriate to the workplace, Illegal Activity, Productivity Loss and Non-Compliant Activity, as well as Identity Leakage (PII).
• Prepare case evidence and incident reports.
• Work on special projects as assigned.

Preferred Skills: Splunk, Proofpoint, Fidelis, Solera, Windows, and Linux Operating Systems

Required Education:

• HS/GED + 10 years experience
• Associates Degree + 8 years experience
• Bachelor’s Degree + 6 years experience
• Master’s Degree + 4 years experience
• PhD + 2 years experience

Required Certifications: 

• 8750 IAT II – A minimum of one certification from the following; CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP
• 8750 CSSP Analyst –A minimum of one certification from the following; GOSI, GCIA, GCWN, GMON, GDSA, GCDA, GSOC, GX-CS, GX-IA, GISF, GSEC, GCED, GCIH, GISP, GFACT, GDAT, CSA, ECIH, CEH, CFR, CySA+, GCIA, GCIH, GISCP, Cloud+, SCYBER, PenTest+
• Splunk Core Certified User (SCCU)
