The Nurse Care Manager plays a vital role in providing support and supervision to our Veteran Clients within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system. This position requires a clinical background, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage non-clinical healthcare services, such as basic activities of daily living. Required qualifications include a current and active RN License in the state of Florida. Administrative and supervisory experience in health care is preferred.

A few of the primary duties in the role include:
- Assist the Administrator in monitoring new VA authorizations
- Schedule and conduct in-home client intakes as designated by the Administrator to explain our VA authorized care services in greater detail and to execute a service agreement
- Conduct ongoing in-home supervisory visits to ensure all care services provided are in compliance with the authorized care
- Update the Plan of Care as required while providing excellent customer service to our clients
- Provide training and support to our Caregiver staff to ensure quality care is being delivered
- Assist the Administrator in building a strong relationships with the VA designated Social Workers
- Record notes and extension documentation within our care management software system
