Job Description
Hommage Bakehouse in San Diego, CA is looking for one baker to join our 9 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix and blend batters, creams, etc.
- Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form croissants, kouign amann, rolls, cookies, or other products.
- Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
- Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods
- Prepare and maintain inventory
- Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail in all aspects of baking
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- 1 year experience minimum in a bakery environment, croissant experience a plus
Hours:
- Monday/Tuesday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Sunday/Wednesday/Thursday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
