Job Description
This is an independent contract, on call position where we will reach out to you as-needed to provide coverage when full-time teachers are out sick or on vacation. We aim to invest in all of our classroom teachers so as a substitute you are also eligible to receive sponsorship to obtain your Montessori credentials through the Prepared Montessori Institute. Our schools are open 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday. Typically, we will be looking for support from 8:30am - 3:00pm or 3:00 -6:00pm for substitutes
Minimum Qualification:
- Ability to complete all pre-service requirements prior to joining (TB screening, background check, fingerprints, VA pre-service training, CPR/First Aid Certification etc)
- Experience working or volunteering with children between the ages of 0-6 within a group setting
- Consistent short notice availability
- Interest in the montessori curriculum
