Responsibilities:

• Material Procurement Excellence:Source and procure materials for upcoming jobs, ensuring timely availability and accurate quantities. Collaborate closely with project managers to understand material requirements and specifications.
• Part Request Fulfillment:Responsibly manage and fulfill part requests from technicians, prioritizing urgent needs to minimize downtime. Maintain clear communication channels with technicians to ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment of part requests.
• Meticulous Inventory Tracking:Utilize advanced inventory management systems to meticulously track inventory levels, locations, and movements. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies promptly.
• Efficient Logistics Support:Assist delivery drivers in unloading materials and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient handling. Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and routes for maximum efficiency.
• Quality Assurance:Check off new arriving materials and equipment against purchase orders, verifying accuracy and completeness. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the quality and condition of incoming materials meet company standards.
• Organization and Cleanliness:Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Implement and uphold best practices for warehouse organization to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives:Actively participate in process improvement projects, contributing valuable insights and suggestions for enhancing warehouse operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Job requirements

• Seasoned Warehouse Experience:Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Plumbing/HVAC/Electrical warehouse operations, demonstrating a deep understanding of warehouse processes and best practices
• Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems:Extensive experience with computerized inventory management systems, adept at navigating and utilizing advanced features for efficient inventory control
• Technological Proficiency:Strong aptitude for computers and technology, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools
• Expertise in Product Knowledge:Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC equipment, plumbing materials, and electrical supplies, ensuring accurate identification and handling of inventory items
• Sharp Mathematical Skills:Proficient in mathematics and counting, with a keen attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory tracking and calculations.
