Marina Maintenance/General Labor - Melbourne, FL

Telemar Bay Marina located in Melbourne, FL is looking for a Marina Maintenance Tech and Back-up Front Office Clerk. Responsibilities will primarily include working outside in a maintenance position but will also be trained as a back-up to the front office to fill-in when needed. The responsibilities will vary with the seasons and the volume of customers.

As a Marina Maintenance Tech/ Back-up Front Office Clerk, you will ensure the Marina's equipment is in good working order, keeping a keen eye on the facilities, docks and boats. Comfort in working directly with customers and creating reservations will also be needed for the back-up Office Clerk shifts.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Maintenance work on docks and outside equipment

• Maintaining the grounds and property

• Become familiarized with paperwork related to seasonal dockage contracts.
• Knowledge in working with tools and general maintenance

• Working in the ship store while being helpful and friendly to customers.

• Proactive in answering customer questions.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Experience working in maintenance and general labor

• Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with teammates.

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets

• Reliable with good time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work
