Job Description
What it’s like to work with us: We are a fun, fast paced, small crew who work to make stressful days beautiful and easy going. Though the job entails hard work, you get to help prepare for one of the biggest days of people’s lives!
What we’re looking for: We are in search of a detail oriented, hard working, organized individual who wants to learn and succeed in the world of events. You will work directly with the warehouse manager to ensure no tasks are left unfinished for upcoming events. This is located in Washington, IL.
What you get to do:
- Assist warehouse manager to keep area organized and clean
- Help pull inventory for upcoming weddings and events
- Move furniture and chairs to the correct location/trailers
- Help with warehouse repairs, maintenance, and general cleaning
- Process in returned inventory from the weekend and new inventory
- Help with weekday setups/teardowns
Desired Qualifications:
- 18yrs or older
- Valid driver license
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for 8 hour shifts
- Ability to easily communicate ideas and suggestions
- Willingness to help out with the not so fun stuff when needed
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and effectively problem solve issues that may arise
Hours: Part time flexible hours, but preferred hours of Monday mornings, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. (other days as needed). Since we are an event company the warehouse is typically busier towards the beginning of the week and in the months of April through November. Hours will vary depending on the number of events and the fabric items rented.
Starting Pay: $15 per hour
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00/hour.
