Seasonal Part-time / Independent Contractor Opportunity!

This seasonal “on- call” position is now hiring for the upcoming 2024 travel season! The season officially begins March 2024 and will operate through July 2024!

Position Details:

Night Chaperones work in hotel hallways with the purpose of monitoring groups of student travelers that are on tour. Our chaperones work with tour group leaders to oversee the safety of all student travelers in the late-night hours. Night Chaperones conduct frequent rounds to monitor the halls for any observed activity, provides curfew watch, noise enforcement and documents all activities witnessed in detail.

The shift durations can range from 5 - 8 hours, anywhere between the hours of 9:30pm to 6:30am. This is a great opportunity for all, but especially for retirees/seasoned workers, stay at home parents, part-timers, and those that like to stay awake late at night.

Duties:

• Oversees the safety of wards (children and young adults) during travelling events while away from their parents or legal guardians.

• Provides wards with information on the expectations of their behaviors and how to keep safe during traveling, and during the time that they will be at their place of residence.

• Monitors wards at events, ensuring that they do not engage in any negative activities.

• Handles any situations that may arise and elevates emergencies to the appropriate authorities.

• Provide feedback on behavior issues.

Qualifications:

• At least 25 years of age. Great for retirees/seasoned workers.
• You must have reliable transportation.
• Must follow Student Watchers mandatory uniform policy.
• Must have neat and clean appearance.

This position requires a national fingerprint background check.

Student Watchers provides Night Chaperone Agent services in many cities and states throughout the nation to include Washington DC, Virgina, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Orlando FL, Los Angeles CA, Boston MA, Chicago IL, Williamsburg VA, Atlanta GA and their surrounding areas!
