CRP is a 3rd-generation, veteran-owned family business with headquarters in Cranbury New Jersey that provides high-quality products in the automotive and industrial sectors. With 150 employees in NJ, SC and MI, CRP is an established and growing company with a focus on manufacture and distribution. We are seeking an experienced, tech-savvy candidate to lead our Finance organization and serve as a member of the Executive Team. This position reports to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage accounting, bookkeeping, day to day finance, audit, tax, and treasury functions.

o Daily cash monitoring

o Prepare monthly journal entries to close books

o Prepare account analysis on monthly basis

o Prepared monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements for review

o Manage and prepare annual budget preparation process

o Preparation of quarterly financial packet for Board of Directors

o Prepare covenant calculation and compliance data for banks

o Prepare monthly metrics for management team

o Assist in insurance activities as needed

o Oversee subsidiary financial reporting process

· Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.

· Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.

· Maintain core accounts and their impact on inventory and P&L.

Requirements:

Requirements:

· Strong technical knowledge, with demonstrated experience using reporting packages

· Energetic, operationally oriented accounting professional with sense of urgency and strategic yet hands-on attitude. Must be strong in establishing internal controls and monitoring actual expenses to budget.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred plus 7+ years progressive accounting experience with most recent experience as Audit Manager or Accounting Manager or any combination of education and experience.

· Experience in core accounting preferred

· Strong written and verbal communication skills within and external to company.

· German and/or Spanish language skills a plus, but not necessary.


BA +7 yrs experience required, CPA preferred

Experience in manufacturing/remanufacturing environment preferred

Familiarity with MS office apps, ERP systems and PEO essential
