The Maintenance Electrician will install and maintain the electrical systems of the plant to provide power for machinery, lighting, and facilities. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions.

What You'll Do:
• Align with local codes and safety specifications.
• Train and supervise electricians in lesser classifications.
• Diagnose, isolate, and effect repairs or replacement of problems in the plant electrical system.
• Manage plant high voltage substations ensuring good condition and perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair assignments.
• Capable of working from elevated platform and lift 50 pounds of weight.
• Enforce necessary action to minimize delay time and enhance productivity.
• Complete tasks with quality, productivity, and caution in mind while following all safety procedures and regulations in servicing all plant electrical systems.
• Perform all work with minimal direction and secure the accurate tools for each task.
• Communicate suggestions and recommend solutions to problems to provide for an efficient operation.
• Approach work assignments positively and function as a team member to exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.
• Be diligent to protect the environment by encouraging and supporting responsible operating procedures.

What We Need from You:
• Proven understanding of AC and DC circuits and systems.
• Motor generator principles and control theory and design.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, as related to installations, basic hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of control devices, high voltage maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in motor, drive, and coupling alignment.
• Panel building and machine rewiring, read electrical schematics, modification of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of good electrical safety habits and PC operation.
