Salary:

Established in 2009 by Steve Casey, Casey Construction is a Commercial Drywall & Floor Prep contractor built upon a family tradition of building relationships and providing quality interior finishes. Casey provides services all throughout the metro Washington, DC area and Raleigh, North Carolina. Our projects range across a variety of industries including life sciences, healthcare, law, government, and technology, which primarily consist of tenant fit-outs and interior renovations.


Position Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in forming and determining the financial strategy and steering the financial performance of the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets that support the company goals
  • Immaculate and timely management of company financials
  • Produce monthly financial reports by the 20th of every month
  • Assist with selecting and managing providers of essential services such as legal, accounting, insurance, and technology
  • Maintain accurate cash flow projections
  • Establish and manage the company overhead budget
  • Work with Vice Presidents/department leaders to manage costs and increase profitability
  • Produce a wide array of financial models to assist with business decisions, including geographic growth 
  • Ensure company compliance with financial regulations and stay updated with the latest changes in financial legislation
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a financial management role. Strong focus on construction background and cost accounting experience. 
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, specifically advanced skills in Excel
  • MBA or CPA is preferred
