Wise Path Recovery Centers - Williamson, WV (in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services) is in search of Full time LPN to join us at our facility in Williamson, West Virginia.  The facility has 46 beds on the third floor of the new Williamson Health & Wellness building, which previously operated as Williamson Memorial Hospital. Our program is dedicated to detox stabilization and short-term residential treatment for both men and women. The facility’s purpose is to help stabilize symptoms of substance use disorder (SUD) and create a smoother transition to an outpatient program or aftercare services.

The LPN will serve as an important member of the treatment team for individuals with substance use disorders.  The LPN will be responsible for medical assessments of all patients during intake and will meet with active patients on a regular basis to address their medical needs.  The LPN will  work closely with other team members on a wide variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the facility runs properly.

 

Accountabilities

  • Complete medical assessments for patients during intake process, including interviewing and annotating patient medical history, taking vitals, and performing drug screenings among other responsibilities.
  • Oversee confidential health risk assessments and access to counseling and testing.
  • Educate patients on medication adherence and additional health information relevant to their specific care plans.
  • Support daily operations of facility, including assisting with front desk inquiries and other administrative or operational duties.
  • Generate and review monthly medication administration records (MARs) or reconciling them to MARs provided by a duly authorized and qualified pharmacist or pharmacy.
  • Promote and adhere to the workplace values of integrity, respect, trust, teamwork, quality, and excellence.

 

Education and Experience, Certificates, and Licenses:

  • West Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Comfortable working independently with the population when needed
  • Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols
  • Experience working with substance use disorder preferred.
  • Ability to work across teams and functions, self-starter who quickly identifies what needs to be done and takes ownership.
  • Multi-tasking capabilities in delivering clinically excellent care.
  • CPR certification required/must be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
