The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our accounting department in various tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

Manage monthly department of motor vehicle registrations of our fleet. Complete management of this process from filing paperwork with the department of motor vehicles to filing all related documents with a high degree of accuracy. Assist with data entry tasks, including recording financial transactions, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and documents. Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and filing paperwork.

Requirements:

• To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• A degree or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as an accounting assistant, clerk, or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Proficiency in accounting software, experience with Acumatica is a plus.
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

• Education:
• While not required, a college degree in accounting would be an advantage.
