Fill Crew Specialist

McCormick Paints is seeking a Fill Crew Specialist for our Manufacturing Facility in Frederick, MD. This role is responsible for learning and understanding all aspects of an automated paint manufacturing line while embracing McCormick Paints’ safety vision.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to:

• Load and unload inbound & outbound raw materials, with accurate documentation
• Machine set up, operation and troubleshooting
• Operate forklift and electric pallet jacks
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS  

• High school degree, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment, preferred
• Proven mechanical ability, preferred
• Previous paint experience, preferred
• Strong organizational skills and a natural mechanical ability, preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Possess basic mathematical skills
• Attention to detail
• The ability to work successfully in a fast-paced team environment are required
• Ability to stand for long period of time and work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and containers (up to approx. 65 lbs.)
