Simple Technology Solutions is looking for an IT Engineering Manager to add to our team. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Quick Position Overview:

- Minimum of 10 years' position related experience is required
The Role:
We are looking for an IT Engineering Manager to work closely with the customer leadership team to achieve business objectives. The IT Engineering Manager will lead a team of architects and engineers in an agile environment. Aside from technical qualifications, application should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal. The applicant must have extensive network engineering, design, implementation, optimization and maintenance experience. A passion for innovation, performance, strong desire for quality conformance, and attention to detail are prerequisites for this position.
The IT Engineering Manager at STS will:
- Significant experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, and robust products and platforms.
- Hands-on work experience supervising 20+ personnel in a technical environment.
- Experience with systems architecture, developing solutions and implementing them on federal programs.
- Strong project management skills, with proven success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of data center hardware technologies such as Compute Nodes, Network and hyper converged INF, Connectivity Devices and Storage Devices.
Education and Experience:
Required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or Engineering
- US Citizenship
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in leading the engineering and implementation of highly complex IT Projects and Programs.
- An appropriate mix of certifications and qualifications in IT Technologies, Agile Practices and Project Management.
- Proven experience with managing using Dev Ops concepts.
- Demonstrated Experience designing mission critical LAN/WAN/CSP infrastructure.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location
Desired Skills
- Experience working at a DHS federal agency program.
- System design knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, IT INF, AI/ML and networking concepts.
- Deep understanding of and experience with open-source technologies, open hardware, disaggregated computing, and high-performance computer environments
