The Preschool Teacher develops a cohesive classroom, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities students in care. The Preschool Teacher should possess high energy and be able to work well with staff, students, and parents. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with and in an energetic environment and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children.

What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage achievements through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Maintain a personal, professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Ensure all facility policies and state regulations are met

What We Need from You:
• High School Diploma or GED and/or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• FL DCF 45-hour training

• CDA preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood education or experience preferred
• Must clear a full background check
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
• Effective in communicating with both students and parents to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
