EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare.

The position of Cost Accountant is responsible for establishing EIT's product and service costs according to corporate procedures and following financial compliances.

Working Conditions:
Normal office environment
9/80 work schedule, with every other Friday off
After training is completed position can move to hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days at home

Job Description:
The position of Cost Accountant is responsible for establishing EIT's product and service costs according to corporate procedures and following financial compliances.
- Inputs and maintains the cost accounting system
- Oversees the cost control systems
- Manages and interprets cost standards
- Prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to top management
- Gathers historical cost data (materials, labor, depreciation, operating expenses, etc.) to compare budgets with actual expenses
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met, adhering to approved budgets
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1 -3 years of related experience
- Working knowledge of accounting in the manufacturing industry, required
- Experience in general ledger and variance analysis, required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to work with others from different functional areas of the company and auditors
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects
