Hotel California by the Sea (HCBTS) is a dual-diagnosis drug and alcohol treatment center located in Cincinnati, OH with other locations located in Newport Beach, CA and Bellevue, WA. HCBTS is looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our outstanding team as a Case Manager!


The Case Manager is responsible for counseling clients during the primary and structured recovery process while under HCBTS care. They will act as a central receiver of pertinent clinical data and work very closely with the clinical staff to ensure the most effective treatment is provided while working within the scope of required licensure.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide substance use disorder counseling and case management services to clients across the continuum of care
  • Responsible for completing all ASAM assessments, screenings, and discharge/transfer documentation
  • Utilize information obtained from the client, medical records, and appropriate personnel to evaluate and treat the client's biopsychosocial needs in all 6 dimensions of the ASAM criteria
  • Provide ongoing coordination of client's needs through the continuum of care and counseling
  • Educate clients and their family members on the disease of addiction and treatment options
  • Support, facilitate, and participate in therapeutic interventions for clients as needed
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to promote, facilitate, and achieve desired treatment outcomes for clients
  • Keep accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all state and company policies and guidelines
  • Participate in the continuous quality management and performance improvement process
  • This position requires group facilitation and some night and weekend availability


Minimum Qualifications/Experience:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Licensed as one of the following:
    • Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC)
    • Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II or III (LCDC II, III)
    • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience providing addiction/substance use disorder counseling and case management services to individuals with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring behavioral health conditions
  • 4+ years of experience in the behavioral healthcare field
  • Demonstrated skills in crisis management
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
