Iron Worker Steel Erector

Qualifications:
* Welding Certificate Cert. D1.1 & D1.8,
* Bilingual,
* Clean driving Record.
* Able to lift 40 pounds & Rigging,
* Welding test Req. & validate said Exp.,
* Must be able to pass a drug screen,
* Must have own tools and tool bag,
* Fluxcore Welding Exp. on structural steel - ornamental steel,
* Steel Erection,
* Oxy cutting torch,
* Help fellow Ironworkers as required,
* Positive attitude, good character, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Install safety line and posts,
• Erecting Steel columns, beams, girders, trusses, joists, etc.
• Installing stairs, landings, rails, and guardrails. Welding all rails & rail returns,
• Able to read, understand and evaluate shop drawings (blueprints) preferred.
• Cut, position, and bold down steel bars to reinforce concrete.

Experience:
* Welding (ornamental - steel detail - erector)
* Heavy equipment operation (Preferred)
* General Construction (Preferred)
* 2+ years of field experience installing structural steel and ornamental steel,
* OSHA , Rigger, fire watch experience.
