Our client, a utility company is seeking a TFS Work Management Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good communication and self motivation which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: TFS Work Management Coordinator
Location: Corpus Christi, TX (fully on site)
Pay Range: $27.85- $32.14
Duration: 12 months (potential to extend/convert)
Hours:
M-F 7am-4pm Travel (15%) will consist of traveling for training, meetings and field visits. Overnight stay is expected, multiple nights at times

What’s the Job?

  • Perform all tasks in the scheduling of pre-determined work activities of Transmission field personnel.
  • Perform collecting data, data entry, and maintaining front end loaded schedules as well as completed ready to execute resource loaded schedules that optimize the maintenance work plans, capital work plans and other TFS work activities.
  • Develop skill set to research and submit TFS outage requests, including entering data into the outage management system, and verifying that all required outages have been entered.
  • Participate in meetings with project, outage, construction, maintenance, operations, and commissioning groups.
  • Assist higher level employees in the development, review, and presentation of statistical reports related to work scheduling and adherence, crew utilization, etc.

What’s Needed?

  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Level 1: Associate degree in Engineering technology or similar field or High School/ GED and 2 years direct electrical utility experience
  • Level 2: Associate degree in Engineering technology or similar field and 4 years of electrical utility experience or High School/ GED equivalency and 6 years direct electrical utility experience
  • Utility field experience would include Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C, Transmission engineering, Transmission or Distribution dispatch experience or Electrical Utility maintenance/ construction work/ project scheduling or project controls experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to read/ interpret electrical schematics
  • Aptitude to understand switching, tagging and clearance points
