Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager (1 st Shift) needed in Virginia. Monday – Friday 1 st Shift 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Overview: Leader in departmental safety, shipping, and receiving. Responsibilities: Implement standard operating procedures to assure on time delivery and highest quality standards. Manage reliable and predictable operations. Reduce process variability and improve consistency throughout the department. Motivate the crew to effectively accomplish the tasks at hand while monitoring employee performance and task efficiency. Identify and implement improvements to the shipping/receiving and packaging departments. Ensure safety requirements are met and exceeded. Assure the schedule is designed to gain maximum utilization of manpower, equipment, and material movement on all shifts. Effectively practice Performance Based management by coaching and developing employees. Ability to lead staff to meet shipping/receiving and packaging demands. Qualifications: 5+ years of leadership experience 3+ years of experience in a shipping environment Ability and desire to improve efficiency and increase capacity. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor. Self-motivated with positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and proven leadership skills Compensation Our client offers a base compensation.
