Exciting opportunity to join the Avera Hand County Memorial Laboratory in Miller, SD!

This position is eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus with a 3 year committment. 

This position is eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program which helps pay off your loans and save money.  Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principle balance faster. 

Job Summary

Provides accurate and timely results to physicians.  Performs various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests on patient/resident specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Certification, Licensure, Registration

• Certified as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist required within one year of placement in the role.

Work Schedule

• Days: 7:00am-5:00pm;
• Every 4th weekend/holiday rotation with call time
• Full time; 72hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
