We are currently hiring for a PRN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN - EMT to work within our Aspen Ambulance.

Compensation Range:

$23.43 - 37.48 per hour  

Non-Exempt

Compensation package is based on your specific qualifications for the role.

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted Colorado EMT certification or license, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Unrestricted certification or licensure as an EMT in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Completion of a CDPHE-approved IV course.
• BLS certification. May be obtained upon hire.
• Current driver license, or ability to obtain prior to start date, with minimum 3 years of driving experience and acceptable MVR.

Position Overview:

Administers care to sick and injured persons in pre-hospital and interfacility setting as directed by paramedics, local protocols, and physician orders. Responds to emergency calls for medical assistance, assesses the situation, obtains a basic medical history and physical examination of the patient, and provides emergency care at the scene and during transit to the hospital.
