Ameritas is seeking a Practice Management Consultant who will be a key member of the Practice Management team and work in collaboration with the Sales Training & Education team as an individual contributor. This division is responsible for providing optimized services and solutions to enable our financial professionals and their firms to achieve important business objectives such as increasing revenue and lowering overhead expenses. This role will have the ability to create and implement practice management tools while maintaining internal and external partnerships to ensure success of the company and our financial professionals.

What you do

  • Direct and influence associate and business resources to achieve business results.
  • Focus on and improve ongoing coaching and development.
  • Enhance and improve programs and services of each business unit. Develop new value-added products to offer advisors. Ensure content and curriculum is periodically updated. Ensure effectiveness of tactics and activities. Coordinate marketing material and sales campaigns to increase usage of the program.
  • collaborate with your peers on the practice management team to determine campaigns and ensure effective execution.
  • Use Salesforce to effectively manage prospects and activity.
  • Coordinate delivery of practice management programs and services.
  • Track and report advisor engagement.
  • Meet with prospective advisors regarding practice management programs.
  • Provide consulting and coaching to Practice Management clients on a range of business issues, including business strategy, people management, and structure and workflow.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4-7 years of experience related to Wealth Management
  • Series 7 and/or 66 strongly preferred, will need to obtain within a year of hiring
  • Travel will be required up to 30%
