The Built for Zero (BFZ) Regional Systems Coordinator will work closely with community partners in an effort to achieve functional zero of the chronic homeless population in the Southwest Region. The Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating and managing collaborative meetings, engaging with key stakeholders, supporting the team in achieving its goals and working towards larger system improvements. The Coordinator will leverage existing and new relationships throughout the community, and act as the connector between stakeholders, working to collectively achieve the goals set forth by the Built for Zero team.


If you are located in Colorado preferably in Montezuma, La Plata, Dolores, San Juan and Archuleta counties, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. Candidate needs to attend regular in person meetings in these CO Counties (Montezuma, La Plata, Dolores, San Juan and Archuleta).


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with partners to develop an appropriate operating framework for BfZ in the community and guide ongoing implementation of the initiative
  • Support Quality Data scaling to full Southwest Region
  • Facilitate system-level performance tracking for the SW region
  • Provide support for achieving SW functional zero proof points (Veteran, Chronic homelessness)
  • Build vertical integration and feedback loops between Southwest & state work to achieve path clearing
  • Participate in co-project management of regional-level improvement projects
  • Design and lead regularly scheduled SW Regional meetings (with Department of Housing or Community Solutions)
  • Act as Improvement Team lead for regional BfZ project and goals, with a focus on supporting the integration of a new La Plata-based team into the BfZ cohort work (in collaboration with Montezuma-based BfZ leads)

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with external stakeholder engagement with multiple agencies
  • Experience with systems quality improvement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite
  • Proven excellent written verbal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to train for this role - Training will be provided according to relevant experience (e.g., BfZ Orientation, Case Conferencing training, Homeless Management Information System, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, HIPAA compliance, workplace ethics, etc.)
  • Ability to travel and attend regular in person meetings in these CO Counties (Montezuma, La Plata, Dolores, San Juan and Archuleta)
  • Valid Driver's license and current automobile insurance with access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and / or training sites for meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with housing programs
  • Experience in the healthcare industry

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
