SPA MANAGER (FULL OR PART-TIME) DETROIT, MICHIGAN IN-PERSON

Job Summary

Our client, a leading wellness organization based in southeast Michigan, is in search of a vibrant Spa Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of their spa. Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the spa to ensure smooth functioning.
• Efficiently schedule both guests and team members to optimize productivity.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews for staff.
• Optimize inventory levels for professional and retail use.
• Utilize POS software systems (e.g., Zenoti, Millennium, Meevo) to analyze performance.
• Spearhead neighborhood marketing and community outreach efforts.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Ensure each guest receives a consistent and outstanding experience.
• Understand the importance of service and personal satisfaction in hospitality.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in administrative roles requiring analysis, initiative, and discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing personality with solid team-building abilities.
• Proficiency in guest relations and management.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• An associate's degree is preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
• Previous experience in spa, hotel hospitality, or salon management preferred.
• Licensing as a Massage Therapist, Cosmetologist, or Esthetician is preferred.
