Repair Technician

We are seeking a Repair Technician to be a part of our exciting future as we pave the way in the transportation vehicle industry!

Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
Pay: $16.50/hr.

Repair Technician job details:

• Basic disassembly and washing of freight or locomotive valves or brake pistons.
• Identify serviceable vs. non serviceable parts.
• Operation of semi-automatic equipment i.e. pedestal buffers, hand buffers, wash machines, ultra-sonic washers.
• Handle valves, parts, tools in a safe manner.
• Proper use of power and manual tools. i.e. impact wrenches, drills, EZ Outs, hand tools.
• Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Perform hazardous waste management duties as necessary.
• Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
• Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
• Must understand, support, and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of related experience, strong communication, mechanical skills, organization, and time management skills.
