Description

The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a Project Manager Renewables position. This role will support utility-scale Solar, Wind, and BESS projects primarily in an Owner's Engineering capacity. The selected candidate will engage with our clients and cross-discipline teams to provide innovative, forward-thinking design reviews, and solutions to facilitate pre-construction, design, construction, and startup/commissioning of Renewable Energy projects.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and provide guidance to the project team.
  • Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with owners, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders on and off the job site.
  • Develop the project plan including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Mitigate project risks through qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
  • Utilize earned value management methodology to effectively track, and report on, project budgets and schedules.
  • Implement effective change management processes related to contract requirements.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to resolve and escalate project issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies.
  • Ensure adherence to client's Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QA/QC) programs.
  • Review and adhere to environmental management plan.
  • Engage in lessons-learned methodology for continuous process improvement.

What We Expect from You

  • B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or related energy technical field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of project management experience preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Project Management experience with utility-scale renewables facilities with complex project requirements is highly desired.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and construction specifications/manuals.
  • Ability to read and understand construction and procurement contracts.
  • Ability to read and understand project schedules and Gantt charts.
  • Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, One Note, Project).
  • Ability to travel periodically to client offices and project sites.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point of $121,000*
