Parts Counter Sales Rep

Stephenson Equipment, Inc (SEI), an industry leader in Pennsylvania and New York providing sales, rentals, parts and service for construction equipment, cranes, paving, road building and road maintenance equipment, has an immediate need for Parts Counter Sales Representative in our Butler, PA location.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Over-the-Counter parts sales to walk-in customers.
• Over-the-phone parts sales to customers on incoming phone calls.
• Follow calls and inquiries to completion.
• Loading and unloading of freight when needed.
• Technical research to fulfill the customers’ needs with the correct parts.
• Assist the team in maintaining accurate and organized inventory.
• Utilize point of sale system to execute sales, process payments, and maintain accurate records.

The best fit to our team will have:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Office environment with moderate noise; computers, printers, and customer traffic. Work requires a combination of sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as standing and walking to retrieve parts. Frequent lifting, up to 25lbs.
