StretchLab is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee sales (and some operations) for a health & fitness boutique studio on Spartanburgs East side. This role provides an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated sales-oriented individual to not only help grow a modern studio, but also create a positive environment for the entire team to flourish.

The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic about both health/fitness and sales. Must have a background in a full cycle B2C environment along with experience in B2B networking. Marketing acumen, problem solving skills, and a creative personality are needed. The tools will be provided to help guide and assist the Sales Manager in this position, but a drive to not only apply the tools, but also excel is required.

Please note that unlike some other fitness or health related studio manager positions, this role is 80-90% sales and 10-20% operations. You must be good at and enjoy sales!! And you do not need to have experience in fitness or health membership sales to excel, you just need to be great at high-end sales and be business savvy!!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, does NOT need to have been in the fitness industry
  • Confidence in ability to generate sales
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner
  • Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, in social media, and via email/text
  • Capacity to excel and thrive in a fast changing, diverse environment
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
  • An affinity and passion for fitness is extremely helpful
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
  • Capable of training Sales Associates and Stretch Professionals in assisting with sales
  • Extremely proficiency with computers and Studio club management software (ClubReady)
  • Provide positive energy and an uplifting culture to the internal team and the clients

DUTIES:

  • Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking
  • Schedule and participate in community events and studio promotions
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
  • Drive Membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts
  • Actively oversee studio social media creation and content
  • Implement sales process to schedule prospects into Intro appointments
  • Manage studio schedule to meet the needs of current clientele and future sales opportunities
  • Ensure studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
  • Supervise and train Sales Associates
  • Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
  • Collect past dues
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness studio
  • Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • This position offers a competitive base salary; based on experience & performance
  • Commission paid on sales
