Group and Event Sales Manager (West Columbia, SC)
Position: Event Manager Location: West Columbia, SC Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (including percentage of sales)
Are you a dynamic and driven individual with a passion for sales and event planning? We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team at a thriving brewery located in West Columbia, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales for on-premise events, creating memorable experiences for our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to promote and book on-premise events at our brewery.
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients, including corporate clients, local organizations, and individuals, to generate event leads and secure bookings.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event needs and provide tailored recommendations and solutions.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including logistics, staffing, vendor management, and budgeting.
- Ensure seamless execution of events, overseeing setup, operation, and breakdown, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout.
- Actively participate in industry networking events and trade shows to expand our network and increase brand visibility.
- Track and analyze event performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event management, preferably in the hospitality or beverage industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with close attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
