Duration: Long-term; approx. 2 years

Drug & Background Check: Both required

MUST HAVE: Fiber Splicing

Level 2 Tech (fiber focused)
1. 6+ months of experience in fiber splicing
2. Identify network design issues and work to resolve as needed
3. Troubleshoot network and powering issues

Location: Sacramento, Bay Area, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Houston, Minnesota

Tech 2 ($24/hr)

Tenure: 12 months+

Job Description:

  • Splicing and activation which includes setting up and balancing electronics to specifications. Work within a team environment to ensure the full job scope is completed within the scheduled timeframe.
  • Basic daily maintenance of provided vehicle: check fluids, clean and organize vehicle.
  • Safely operate and use bucket truck to complete daily construction assignments as needed (potentially working for extended times on a ladder).
  • Safely set up and operate at a job work site in compliance with local and federal regulations.
  • Complete daily production reports, mark up maps, keep track of work hours and complete “as-built” maps for areas built.
  • Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
  • Continued training and education to support advancement in either technology innovations or role.
