The Accountant provides accurate, timely and useful information to Management and insures accurate accounting for material and other assets of the Company. Responsibilities include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Warehousing, Budget and Inventory Tracking.

Essential Duties:

  • Active role in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and GL analysis.
  • Responsible for preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial statements following IFRS, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports required for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying and developing key performance indicators (KPI) that align activities with operational goals creating and managing budgeting tools to analyze budget-to-actual/variance reporting, financial planning and analysis, and cost savings analysis.
  • Perform analysis of key business data and drivers, present findings and provide recommendations.
  • In coordination with the CFO and executive leadership, assists in the preparation of the annual budget and multi-year forecast.
  • Manages indirect costs, expense allocations, monthly variance reporting.
  • Manage inventory valuation and assist in margin analysis.
  • Perform variance analysis, including Purchase Price to Cost variance, Invoice to PO price variances and work order variances.
  • Act as the finance lead for periodic physical inventory and monthly cycle counts; work with the operational resources responsible for these processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting implications.
  • Responsible for consolidating and analyzing financial data from various sources, creating comprehensive reports, and offering actionable recommendations to drive informed business decisions.
  • Responsible for audit and tax compliance, internal controls, manage the external audit process and liaise with auditors and 3rd party tax accountants.
  • Assist with special projects and research projects as assigned by CFO
Requirements:

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ year’s work experience
  • SAP/EXCEL knowledge is a must.
  • Comfortable working in international environment, cross location
  • Aptitude to learn.
