Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager of the Help Desk, the Desktop Support Team Lead will be responsible for supervising, guiding the technical development, and managing the day-to-day operations of the Desktop Support Team. This position will ensure an effective and efficient level of IT support within the desktop support environment, overseeing hardware repairs, replacements, and asset management. Additionally, the Desktop Support Team Lead will confirm adherence to SOPs and ensure timely resolutions for customer issues.

Job Description:
• Lead a team of ten technicians, providing supervision and guidance.
• Oversee the ServiceNow ticket system to ensure daily resolution and updates.
• Exercise control over IT inventory, assets, and deployed software.
• Identify and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems.
• Take charge of managing large-scale hardware and software deployment projects along with technical teams.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Hold a BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, OR demonstrate 5 years of experience in the IT industry.
• 3 to 5 years of recent experience in team leadership.
• Possess certifications such as ITIL Certification, MCSE, MCP, and Network+, which are considered advantageous.
• Exhibit a robust understanding of desktop imaging processes, tools, and technologies related to software packaging and distribution.
• Demonstrate knowledge in Bitlocker Encryption and McAfee antivirus.
• Showcase strong troubleshooting skills.
• Have a profound understanding of iPad setup, Dell computers, Mac computers, and iPhones.
• Possess advanced knowledge of VMWare.
