Position Overview

CivicScience is actively seeking a skilled and experienced product marketing director to play a key role in our go-to-market strategy. Preferred candidates will demonstrate the ability to put the customer first, build and execute category development strategies, and deliver solutions to clients with a buy-side focus. This role will work cooperatively with multiple internal teams to support sales across all CivicScience business units, align customer and media partner acquisition and retention, and leverage data in partnership with research, product, and technology. 

Responsibilities

  • Own CivicScience buy-side marketing strategy that attracts the right stakeholders (client direct, agency, and platforms)
  • Design, develop, and manage sales marketing materials (product decks, one-sheets, vertical sales category presentations, and RFPs)
  • Partner with our communications team, leveraging our brand heritage within the consumer insights industry to craft storylines that demonstrate our enterprise services with audience targeting and campaign measurement
  • Identify co-selling opportunities between industry trade groups
  • Partner with sales management to identify strategic agency and brand opportunities that will uncover new opportunities for growth
  • Provide management with client feedback and industry knowledge that enables us to invest in product development to meet the future needs of clients

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience with a proven track record of success in product marketing, content, and lead generation
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple client/stakeholder deadlines
  • Motivation to solve complex problems in a startup environment and ability to structure and develop a team as we grow
  • Demonstrated proficiencies and understanding of the evolving media and research ecosystem, including clients, agencies, advertisers, and online measurement, delivery, and platforms (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)

This is a remote (work-from-home) position. Compensation will vary, based on knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications, experience, bonus, and/or commissions, as guided by fair and equitable employment decisions for qualified candidates.
