Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Measurement Technician to join our team in the oil and gas industry. This is an entry-level position under direct supervision in order to improve production, the candidate will be responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting, and supports all aspects of the maintenance and repair of measurement station and associated equipment, meter run installs, calibrations, call-outs, collections, troubleshooting and communicating with customers.

• Assists with new meter installations, preventative maintenance, and field solutions for measurement related problems.
• Assists with the maintenance and operation of flow computers and primary devices.
• Performs plate changes and general upkeep of the end devices.
• Monitors measurement and gas quality at assigned meter sites.
• Maintains and troubleshoots telemetry on measurement equipment.
• Coordinates with the Measurement Department and Production Control as required, and provides support for gas volume discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a Measurement Technician in the Oil and Gas field.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and calibrating measurement equipment, such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, level sensors, and temperature sensors.
• Performs routine, basic office/field tasks using established procedures.
• Associate's degree/technical certification or higher in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical pref Technology or foreign equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of experience of AGA - 3 2013 Standards, API 14.3, and GPA 2166-86 preferred
• Basic level of proficiency with Fisher ROC 107 and 800 preferred
• Familiar with PD Meters Familiar with Coriolis meters Preferred
