Job ID: 24-01228 Transporter- Sterile Processing Washington DC NW MUST: Experienced Transporter - Sterile Processing High School Diploma or GED Demonstrate the correct hand washing techniques. Able to differentiate the various detergents and their usage. Know how to operate the cart washer in a safe manner. Understand the safety procedure for transporting the contaminated items. Know how to use SPM tracking System Know how to deliver and collect L&D instrumentation. Know how to deliver and collect the OR case carts. Know how to tag the dirty instruments coming from the OR Know how to decontaminate the case carts and the code carts manually. Restock and organize the instrument wrappers daily. Restock the miscellaneous supply efficiently and in a neat and organized manner. Know how to identify the instrument sets by Service in the prep area Know how to scan the sets to receive in Prep Area from the washer decontaminator Understand the process of placing instrument set in the appropriate container Unload deliveries, store them on the shelf, and re-stock the storage bins as needed and as directed Restock the Code Carts and deliver the code carts to appropriate patient care unit as assigned *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
