About this job

Description:

- Hires, reviews, schedules, trains, and monitors the work of branch personnel: conducts performance reviews and monthly coaching sessions; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department; reviews and approves, denies, or modifies department recommendations from subordinates.

- Monitors branch and back office operating results relative to established objectives and ensures appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.

- Maintains communications with all Member Service areas; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management and interdepartmental meetings.

- Provides advice, counseling and solutions through staff and directly to member inquiries. Handles member escalation calls and assists members in person, over the phone, through the internet and email, and through the mail/fax.

- Represents the branch and Credit Union as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations(s), suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups, along with participation in volunteer events.

- Makes process improvement suggestions, and implements approved items. Updates procedures as needed. Encourages and models sales performance.

- Monitors all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established Credit Union policies and procedures.
