Digestive Healthcare Consultants of Northwest Ohio, one of Toledo’s premier GI practices’ is recruiting a motivated and personable Physician Assistant to join their progressive practice.  This 100% GI practice consists of 13 Gastroenterologists, 11 Advanced Practice Providers, and has the largest practice volume in the region.  The practice has served the area for many years with a reputation of providing high-quality patient care and excellence.

This provider will cover ambulatory for new and existing patients, handle inpatient consults at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, triage questions and complete tasks in EPIC. Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude with patience to work with patients and their needs.

  • Privileges at Toledo and Flower Hospitals 
  • 20 / 20 hours split between office and hospitals 
  • Monday - Friday ; weekends can be picked up at Toledo Hospital 
    • If scheduled a weekend, time is flexed throughout the week 
  • No call

Physician Assistant:

  • Masters degree 
  • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio
    • PA-C
  • Certificate of Authority to practice is required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.
  • Post offer pre-employment required to include drug screen

 

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Masters of nursing (MSN) degree
  • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio
  • Certificate of Authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.
