Vintage Security Tech

Our client is looking to hire a self-motivated individual looking to grow their knowledge and experience in the physical security, low volt cabling and home theater industry. Our client will train you how to install, program and service security systems, home theaters, distributed audio, camera systems, home automation and network equipment. The training phase will last the entire contractual phase and could go longer performance permitting.

-Responsibilities and Duties: Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of Security, AV and Home automation systems in new construction homes. This included Town Houses and some single family homes. * Setup, test and troubleshoot IT networks: Wi-Fi and Ethernet
-Properly test and terminate low voltage wiring.
-Follow production, safety and quality standards to code and properly document work completed.
-Able to work in construction sites about 80% of the time

Qualifications and Skills: The purpose and duty of a residential technician trainee is to assist in the installation of all products offered by our client while learning how to install these products safely, correctly and efficiently.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Possession of a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record - in order to go permanent with Vintage Security.
Ideal territory would be in Howard County and Carroll Count

Top Skills' Details

1. 1 or less years running, installing, and terminating low voltage cable.
2. Experience assisting during installation or mounting of CCTV's, Alarms, Card Readers, Access Points, audio visual equipment, home theater equipment etc.
3. Strong Work Ethic, Communicative, Motivated
