Job Description
THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN THE WARD, SOUTH CAROLINA, AREA FOR A MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE PLANNER WITH AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A MAINTENANCE PLANNER/SCHEDULER/COORDINATOR IN MANUFACTURING. Experience in food manufacturing/processing is preferred though not required.
This position has excellent benefits and is even eligible for quarterly bonuses based on company attaining targets!
Hours/Work Schedule:
- Weekly pay/eligible for OT
- Monday through Friday, generally 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. plus one Sunday a month for inventory
This plant is quite new with state-of-the-art equipment installed approximately 4 years ago.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Technical degree preferred.
- 5 years of mechanical and or electrical trades experience (trades/technician)
- Minimum of three years mechanical and/or electrical maintenance planning experience
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Word required.
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous use and knowledge of a CMMS system preferred and or other affiliated CMMS systems.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of the planning and scheduling of maintenance work functions as they apply to predictive, preventive, precision, proactive, and corrective maintenance as well as inventory experience
- Advanced comprehension of the equipment mechanical/electrical functions preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause skills mandatory.
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must have experience in a lean-manufacturing company and be familiar with lean manufacturing processes.
- Must have legal right to work permanently (now and in the future) in the U.S. without employer sponsorship of any type at any time as none is available.
- Must live within a commutable distance of the Ward, South Carolina, area.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review maintenance program for efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness to provide feedback for improvement to company leadership.
- Assess schematic diagrams to properly plan and initiate new installation assignments.
- Track maintenance activity using SAP software to confirm compliance with industry requirements.
- Optimize productivity by eliminating downtime, efficient budgeting, allocating tasks and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Oversee equipment and parts inventory and track shipments to reduce stock shortages.
- Develop maintenance reports to assess program success and inform operational decisions.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
- Create and maintain daily and weekly reports for upper management.
- Organize ongoing maintenance schedules to boost system performance.
- Contribute to development, implementation, and execution of maintenance programs.
- Monitor priorities and liaised between maintenance team and management, delegating tasks to complete on time.
- Efficiently assisted service workers with problematic transactions to maintain customer satisfaction and quickly rectify issues.
