Accountant Assistant

We are seeking a Part Time, Accountant Assistant to join our medical case management firm!

18-20 hours per week; Hours: M, W, F, 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m., with some flexibility to work a few additional hours if needed.

Thorough job training will be provided!

Salary is dependent upon experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting Controller with managing accounts payable using SAGE 50 software;
• Reconciling payable account records;
• Assisting Controller with payroll processes;
• Assist with paying payroll taxes, and meeting all deadlines;
• Maintaining the organization's booking keeping process;
• Posting financial data, accurately, to accounts;
• Addressing communication between the organization and its vendors;
• Organize, retrieve, and distribute documents in electronic and print formats, ensuring accurate, and timely submission;
• Prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other correspondence to vendors and/or executive team;
• Proofread and edit correspondence utilizing excellent writing, editing, and grammar skills;
• E filing and physical filing of accounting records;
• Perform all other assigned office tasks.

Qualifications:

• Two years' + previous experience in accounting/booking, or related fields;
• Certified in SAGE 50 and/or QuickBooks;
• Proficient in Office 365;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to follow direction;
• Ability to prioritize and multitask;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Professional attitude;
• Corporate casual professional attire.
