Accounting Assistant - 30+ hours per week

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant for 30-40 hours per week at the Rockville office.  You will compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices, sort out checks we receive in the mail, divide corporate checks and facility checks. Someone to sort out mail, place email in their respective mailboxes, scan Controller’s mail to whomever, scan AP mail to AP Inbox ( instructions typed up on this as well and it’s hung up at the front desk).

Responsibilities:

• Calculate costs of goods and services
• Track and record deliveries to customers
• Distribute invoices for sales review 
• Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
• Perform all other office tasks
• Assist with posting ACH payments in NetSuite
• Assist with inputting bills in NetSuite

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields
• Experience in data entry
• Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
