Home Remodel Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remodeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, remodeling, and renovation projects. The Remodeler will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, implementing design plans, and performing various tasks related to remodeling residential or commercial properties.

Responsibilities

- Interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and design plans to execute remodeling projects.

- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and expectations.

- Perform demolition, carpentry, framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and other remodeling tasks as needed.

- Install fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, tiles, and other materials according to specifications.

- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

- Inspect and evaluate the condition of structures to identify necessary repairs or improvements.

- Use hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment, safely and efficiently.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Remodeler or similar role in the construction industry.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

- Strong carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, and general construction skills.

- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.

- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification or vocational training in construction, carpentry, or a related field.

- Prior experience with remodeling residential or commercial properties.

- OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.

Working Conditions

- The position requires working indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.

- May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or with potentially hazardous materials.

- Physical effort and lifting heavy objects may be required regularly.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
