Entry Level Manufacturing Operator

This is an entry-level role - experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, not required

The Company:

Thin Metal Parts is a manufacturing company located in Colorado Springs, near Garden of the Gods. We build custom, high-precision, very thin products for companies across all industries. To do this we use three different technologies: electroforming, chemical etching, and laser cutting. This position is supporting our chemical etching operations.

Skill Set Desired:

1. Basic PC skills.
2. Able to read blueprints/drawings and extract data to help etch parts is a plus.
3. Able to use a precision measuring microscope is a plus.
4. Able to multi-task.
5. Familiar with chemicals is a plus.
6. Can do and positive attitude.
7. Eagerness and willingness to learn.

Job Overview:

1. Operation of chemical etch equipment.
2. In-process measurement of parts using a gauge.
3. Resist strip of parts
4. Transfer of chemicals to and from etch area.
5. General maintenance of etch equipment and housecleaning of all areas.
6. Perform etchant change outs.
7. Assist in other departments as needed.
8. Metal prep
