General Position Summary:
Essential Functions:
- Ability to quickly recognize problems.
- Highly safety-conscious and willing to wear the following PPE: long sleeve shirt and long pants, steel toe work boots, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection.
- Must be willing to wear the following additional PPE as necessary: protective heat clothing, hard hat, face shield, heat resistant gloves.
The job responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Periodically cleaning the furnace.
- Occasionally changing dies in the machine.
- Operate trim die machine.
- Handling and transfer of pre-production and post-production materials.
- Responsible for conducting quality and facility checks.
- Responsible for general housekeeping the work area.
Job Dimensions (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities or KSAs)
- Ability to repetitively lift and load 25lb aluminum ingots into furnace
